What to Do When You Lose a Provider
How to get the most of your final visits
Today, I watched another patient hug my physical therapist goodbye and cry. He’s leaving the practice, and because he’s so good, many of us are disappointed. I certainly am.
We talk a lot about finding a good provider, but if you are chronically ill losing a provider is a scenario you’re also bound to face, and we need to talk about it.

The requests I make in those final visits ensure I:
Find the right replacement
Better understand my own health
Optimize critical medical documentation
